I think the plans to develop state-of-the-art health, leisure and fitness facilities in Bispham is a brilliant idea.

It is long overdue for the Bispham area and the sooner the better.

This in terms of health, so that local residents have access to the same high level of facilities found in the Wyre area.

It is also in terms fitness, so that local residents do not have to travel to use facilities.

The fitness facilities should include aspects for everyone, including squash courts, spinning studio and an area around the complex where residents could walk/run.

The new planned medical centre at Moorpark is a terrible idea. There are not enough green spaces in the area. It is used widely by local people (who by the way never were notified of this other than in the newspaper). Surveyors in the park when asked what they were doing were very evasive and said just checking the trees. There are very many dog walkers using the part of the park where the medical centre is supposed to be. Why not put the medical centre close to the where the Bispham Technology Centre is. Many local people feel ignored as if our opinion is of no consequence. Not to mention the problem another parking area for 250 cars will cause with the only entrance being Bristol Avenue. There is a meeting arranged at this late stage for Bristol Avenue residents ONLY. I live closer than most Bristol Avenue residents but have not had an invite!!
