Speculation over Dickov signing to Blackpool FC

The agents representing striker Paul Dickov have denied reports he has signed for Blackpool FC, writes Lewis Wren.

First Artist Sports, who act for the Scottish international, said: "Contrary to reports in the press that Paul has joined Blackpool, that we believe came direct from the club, First Artist can confirm that this is not the case.

“Paul has been in discussion with Blackpool as well as other clubs including Leicester City and Toronto FC but is yet to finalise a deal.”

However, it is understood that Pool are the player’s preferred destination and negotiations are continuing.
